    More than 50% of adults avoid all forms of exercise, many others focus on aerobic training only. This results in loss of lean muscle mass, strength and flexibility.

    By age 50, most people have considerably less muscle mass and have lost both strength and range of motion. This is a factor leading to a slow metabolism and obesity.

    1. Plus there’s the whole change in hormones at age 50 that makes all the lack of exercise worse (testosterone in men). Encouragement is huge in the drive to get people to exercise!
