Carrie began her career in nutrition and health when she graduated from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in Calgary, 2011. Shortly after, she delved into a more hands-on approach to nutrition where she traveled to Vancouver acquiring two certifications in Living Food Chef Instruction. A year later Carrie’s special interest in working with cancer patients inspired her to continue her education to involve oncology where she completed another certification as a Professional Cancer Coach.
In addition to providing nutrition and lifestyle education, she has instructed agricultural workshops to students in various high schools throughout Alberta. Also certified through CanFitPro as a Personal Training Specialist, she teaches fitness to clients of all ages and fitness levels.
Contribution within local communities involve hosting nutrition & wellness seminars for local athletic clubs and schools. When Carrie isn’t busy helping others, she enjoys the company of family and friends, camping trips, fishing, strength training, running, hiking, biking and yoga. Most rewarding has been time spent cheering on her own two favorite athletes!
Carrie recently graduated from the Emergency Medical Technician program and is currently registered as a Primary Care Paramedic with The Alberta College of Paramedics. She also enjoys volunteering her time as medical support for various events.
